Oak Crest Day Camp offers a summer program for 10–12-year-olds that combines independence with structure, giving senior campers more responsibility and more choices. Campers in this age group can participate in Senior Late Nights, where they stay later into the evening to take part in scheduled group dinners, extra swim time, organized games, and a campfire with S’mores. These events allow campers to build stronger bonds with their peers and counselors in a supervised but more relaxed setting.
As part of the senior experience, campers also take part in day trips to regional attractions such as Dorney Park. These trips are planned with safety and supervision in mind while providing campers with exciting new environments to explore alongside their camp friends.
Each week, campers participate in our Choice program, which gives them the ability to select from a range of specialized activities. Whether they’re interested in creative arts, sports, adventure, or science-based options, the program allows each child to tailor their camp experience to their interests and skill levels. This structure helps older campers near Monmouth Junction, NJ, develop decision-making skills while staying active and engaged throughout the summer.
