13-15 Year Old Summer Camp near Edison

Oak Crest Day Camp offers a Teen Travel Program that caters to different age groups with a structured schedule. For 7th graders, the week includes camp activities on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, complemented by off-site day trips on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The 8th and 9th graders enjoy camp days on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with their adventures taking them off-site on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Additionally, teens have the option to participate in 2- or 3-day overnight trips, offering further enrichment.

During their days at camp, located near Edison, NJ, teens engage in a variety of activities. They are grouped with peers and guided by vetted counselors, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. The program includes swimming, climbing, ropes courses, sports, arts, and other creative activities. Teens also enjoy the autonomy to select preferred activities during two designated Choice periods, enhancing their camp experience by aligning activities with their interests.

7th Grade Summer Camp Edison

At Oak Crest Day Camp, safety is a fundamental component of our Teen Travel Program. Both campers and parents are required to sign a Teen Travel Behavior Contract before participating in any off-site excursions, which adhere to Oak Crest Travel Protocols to ensure everyone’s safety. Each division within the program is managed by an experienced Division Head who oversees all activities, whether on-site or off-site.

Our Teen Staff receives specialized training for supervising campers in various public settings, focusing on the specific needs and challenges associated with early teens. Oak Crest offers a summer program full of exploration, fun, and personal growth for teens, conveniently located near Edison, NJ, providing a secure and enriching environment where they can thrive.
