At Oak Crest Day Camp, the Teen Travel Program offers a structured summer schedule tailored to different age groups. Seventh graders attend camp on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with off-site day trips on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For 8th and 9th graders, the schedule reverses, featuring camp days on Tuesdays and Thursdays and off-site adventures on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Additionally, teens have the option to join enriching overnight trips that last either two or three days.
On camp days, activities are varied and engaging, with opportunities for free swim, climbing, ropes courses, sports, arts, and other creative pursuits. Teens also enjoy Choice periods, where they can select activities based on their interests, all under the guidance of carefully screened counselors. At Oak Crest Day Camp, we prioritize safety during all off-site excursions by strictly adhering to our Oak Crest Travel Protocols. Before any trips, both campers and parents are required to sign a Teen Travel Behavior Contract to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Each group within the program is led by an adult Division Head who is responsible for managing both on-site and off-site activities.
