The LIT Experience
Join us at Oak Crest Day Camp for an engaging leadership program tailored for 16-17-year-olds. Located near East Brunswick, our Leadership in Training (LIT) program equips teens with leadership skills essential for community impact and personal success.
Our program focuses on developing practical abilities for effective problem-solving, teamwork, and role modeling. Participants will work directly with various camper groups, enhancing their leadership through real-world responsibilities. This experience not only prepares teens for college but also lays the groundwork for future career opportunities.
In addition to regular camp activities, LITs at Oak Crest will participate in an overnight trip and benefit from structured Staff Training. They will receive continuous support from the LIT Director through daily feedback and weekly meetings to refine strategies and overcome challenges.
This program is an excellent opportunity for your teen to grow as a leader while forming lasting friendships and memories near East Brunswick.
Program Includes
- Commitment to 6, 7 or 8 weeks employment as LIT
- Complete LIT training including formal weekly meeting and ongoing job supervision
- LIT salary and potential for added gratuities from parents
- Transportation to and from camp
